You’re in the Right Place

We see you. We see your love for your child. We see you want the best for them. We see your hard work and your dedication. When your child is struggling to develop critical literacy skills, we can help them overcome the obstacles in their way.

How to Help Your Child

We’ve been in your shoes, and empowering your child to conquer the challenges they face in learning to read feels overwhelming. Where do you start? Right here, with The Lucy Project.

 Get an Assessment

By understanding your child's strengths and identifying where they struggle, we individualize their experience, whether in small groups or one-on-one. You also get a written report that you can share with educators supporting your child, too.

Join a Program

Structured Literacy lessons are fun, interactive, and responsive to your child’s progress. With a reading remediation program a few times a week, your child will practice and master the fundamental skills that make for strong readers.

See Results

It’s so much more than seeing better report cards and reaching grade level. Literacy empowers. As they gain confidence, your child will believe in themself as much as you believe in them. Watch them realize their full potential.

Effective, Individualized Support – Anywhere

We follow your child’s lead while drawing on decades of experience

Our learning specialists break reading and spelling down into smaller skills and help your child build on them over time – in person or virtually. These multi-sensory teaching strategies, informed by the Science of Reading, move everyone forward and are extremely effective for students with dyslexia and other reading-based learning difficulties. We're the only Miami literacy organization with Structured Literacy Master Trainers on staff, and we’re different than any dyslexia tutor in Miami, or anywhere. Most importantly, we celebrate your child's unique learning style.

To make every program affordable, your family’s annual income determines the cost per session in any program.
