It’s no secret that the equity gap in education is harming children. Our current public school system does not meet the needs of many of its students. Those who come from families that can afford private tutoring will fare better than those who cannot. And the life-long implications of this disparity cycle breeds inequity, poverty, and social injustice on a grand scale. This cycle must be broken for all children to have equal opportunity to flourish.

Schools are not equipped to provide solutions and private tutoring is expensive. We advocate for system-wide change so that all children can receive the specialized care they need to learn to read. Partner schools are given training and support to implement solutions in their classroom.
